FAQ Print

How many wedding invitations should I order?
You should order one invitation for each couple, and one for each single person you are inviting. Children usually go on the same invitation as their parents but some couples choose to send invitations separately.
It is usually a good idea to order a couple more invitations than you plan to account for any last minute guests.


Do you provide printing services?
All our stationery prices include personalised printing on your invitations and envelopes.


How should I word my wedding invitations?
When you meet with our design consultants and place your order with Diamond Cards you have the option of choosing wording from our traditional options or we will help you create your own.


Can I choose my own font?
We have many fonts available to suit most needs but if you have a particular font not on our list we will endeavor to provide the font or a font very similar.


When should I mail my invitations?
It is recommended that you mail your invitations out 8 weeks before the wedding. If you have out of town or overseas guests, you will want to send them earlier. You will also want to send them earlier if your wedding is close to Christmas.


What reply date should I write on my reply cards?
A date about four weeks before the wedding date is usually sufficient time to advise the necessary people involved with organising the event. It's a good idea to check with the reception venue for a cut-off date for supplying numbers.


How much time does it take to complete my order?
Usually between two to four weeks from the time payment is received, and from the moment we have the approval to print and any other necessary information such as guest and address lists. It does vary and does depend on you. The quicker you provide all the necessary information, the quicker it will be. We can usually cater for rush orders if all the necessary information is provided promptly.


Will I get to see a sample of my order?
Once your order has been decided and a deposit paid we will create a sample of your wedding stationery.


What if I need to change or cancel an order that I have already submitted?
The order will not proceed until you have checked and signed off the sample order. Changes and cancellations will not be possible after this point as most orders are processed quickly. Changes or cancellations will only be permitted if materials have not been bought and printing has not started.
It is extremely important to read through your sample copy carefully and let us know of any problems or changes immediately.
